Abstract
The public ownership refers to the ownership by the people within a certain region based on shared interests to specific property,including state ownership and collective ownership.They all have the features of public interest,abstractive subject,indirect exercise and vulnerability to infringement.In the nature,the collective ownership of land in China is one of the public ownerships.The theory of public ownership is a brand-new perspective to analyze the collective land ownership in China,since it can interpret the history and the present situation of the collective ownership of land in China correctly and provide a theoretical basis for its perfection.
