Abstract
[Purpose] To investigate the expression of Pokemon in ovarian cancer and its significance. [Methods] Expression of Pokemon protein was detected immunohistochemically,and its relationship with clinicopathological characteristics was analyzed. [Results] The positive expression rates of Pokemon in ovarian cancer,borderline ovarian tumor and normal ovarian tissues were 84%,25% and 5% respectively,with significant difference(P0.05). The expression of Pokemon in ovarian cancer correlated with grade of differentiation,lymph node metastasis and clinical stage(P0.05),while did not correlate with age(P0.05). [Conclusion] Pokemon is high expression in ovarian cancer tissue,and it correlates with grade of differentiation,lymph node metastasis and clinical stage. Pokemon plays an important role in carcinogenesis and progress of ovarian cancer.
