Abstract

Catalytic synthesis methods of cyclohexyl acetate by the catalysts such as sulfonic acid, solid super- acid, inorganic salts, heteropoly acids are summarized. Reaction conditions, properties of catalysts and characteristics of synthesis process are described. The predominance of every catalyst on the product yield, reaction time, post treatment process, performance for repeated use is discussed. The development of environmental friendly, highly effective and economical catalyst system loaded on solid carriers will be the future research direction.
