Abstract

The compulsoriness of courses on isms and political thoughts for all college and university students is fully in line with the socialist core value system,with essential features and the laws of university education in our country,and consistent with Qian's discussion about isms and his vision and practice in his later years for the education of innovative talents of science and technology.The compulsory status of these courses should not be changed.
