Western Humanism and the Establishment of New Humanism in China

Humanism has a long history in Western countries and has experienced several major transformations in modem times.Its modern thoughts on new humanism provide us with important guidance and inspirations for understanding and solving the contradictions and problems existing in modern society.At present,in this fragmentary modern society dominated by desire and consumption,the new humanism shall become the theoretical driving force for returning of the alienated human nature.In the process of achieving the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation,we shall establish the new humanism in China by using the Western humanism as a reference and discarding the negative part,in order to perform its role in enhancing cohesiveness and value establishment.
