On the Reference and Inheritance of Modern Chinese Poetic Style from Classical Chinese Poetic Style and Western Poetic Style

It′s an important way to produce modern Chinese poetic style by drawing on and inheriting classical Chinese poetic style and western poetic style,which can be conducted in three manners: first,the reference to and the learning of modern Chinese poetic style from modern western poetic style as well as the transplant of free verse,sonnet and stairshaped verse to China;second,the emergence of a new poetic style resulting from the integration of classical Chinese poetic style with western poetic style,such as modern short verse and modern metric verse;third,the inheritance of modern Chinese poetic style from classical Chinese poetic style so as to enhance the development of ballads and metric verse.
