Abstract

The ideological influence of early New Culture Movement on the May 4th Patriotic Movement is manifested not only in the supremacy of human rights,personal independence and democracy,but also in the trend of nationalism aroused by the thought of remolding national character.In addition,the education reform of the early New Culture Movement provides a beneficial social environment for the May 4th Movement and a team of advocates and the backbone of the May 4th Movement are prepared during the New Culture Movement.
