Abstract
Since the French literary critic J.Kristeva first put forward the notion of intertextuality,the study of it never comes to a stop.Examples of intertextuality can be seen everywhere in literary works,so the study of intertextuality is of great importance for translation studies.This text deals with the relationship between intertextuality and translation,which manifests the importance of intertextuality in translation.
