Investigation on the Dissolution Rate of Huanglianshangqing Tablets in Vitro

Abstract

Objective To investigate the dissolution velocity of Huanglianshangqing Tablets in vitro from different factories.Methods The Rotary basket method was used with 1000 ml of hydrochloric acid solution as the medium,and rotating at 100 rpm.The content was determined by UV spectrophotometry.Results The dissolution parameters of Huanglianshangqing Tablets of different batch number showed significant difference.Conclusion Dissolution rate test is needed for controling the quality of Huanglianshangqing Tablets.
