Observations on the curative effect of motor acupuncture on upper limb spasm after stroke

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of motor acupuncture on upper limb spasm after stroke. Methods: 64 patients were randomly divided into the motor acupuncture group and the traditional acupuncture group. Before and after treatment, we detected the changes. Result: The traditional acupuncture group efficacy was 41% and the motor acupuncture group was 62%.Conclusion: The motor acupuncture has good effect on relieving the spasm and promoting recovery of the upper limb motor function after stroke.
