Abstract

Objective:To investigate risk factors for development from transient ischemic attack(TIA) to cerebral infarction. Methods:Clinical data of 100 cases of TIA patients in our hospital from October 2007 to June 2009 were analyzed,of which 40 cases developed to cerebral infarction. Results:Risk of TIA patients of which onset time was longer than 30 minutes and onset more than 3 times in 24 hours, attack more than 5 times in 24 hours after the first attack, and the suffering from cerebral infarction significantly improved(P0.05).The blood pressure and blood sugar and total cholesterol of 40 cases of TIA patients with cerebral infarction were significantly higher(P0.05).Conclusion:TIA patients with long onset time, high frequency,no timely treatment can develop to cerebral infarction in short term, especially in patients with hypertension, hyperlipidemia and hyperglycemia, clinician should pay more attention to these patients.
