Abstract

Researches on soil nutrient fertility on banana plantation is the basis of working out the nutrient management strategy.Soil samples(110) were collected in Guangdong banana plantations to evaluate the soil nutrient fertility status by the criteria of National Second Soil Survey. Also, soil analysis result was compared with that of the Second Soil Survey(Guangdong) to reveal the Spatio-temporal variation.Generally,at present, soil nutrient fertility in banana plantation was higher with less deficient elements, and B was the most commonly deficient.Compared with the early 1980's,soil fertility of banana plantation shifted greatly, summarized as obviously decrease of organic, significantly increase of available P and K.The Spatio-templral variation was mainly contributed to consumption trend of chemical fertilizer and its composition, and banana cultivation model as well.
