Abstract
Effects of eucalypt plantation on soil nutrient and its soil fertility evalution by the improved Nemerow composite index were performed. The results were showed:the site soil fertility was very poor. The soil fertility indexes of its surface soils(layer A)were higher markedly than that of subsurface soils(layer B).There existed marked differences among different eucalypt plantations in soil fertility, and its soil fertility rank was E.salignaE.grandis× E.urophyllaE.camaldulensisE.pellita E.grandis.Eucalypt plantation had a positive effect on soil nutrient, but this effect was not marked by reason of many factors and forest age possibly.
