Abstract

Xu Fuguan,a new important representative of Confucianism,respected for Taoism with main culture of Confucianism.He tried to integrate Confucianism and Taoism in wider cultural background to explain and evaluate Chinese traditional culture ac-curatly in an all-round way.Therefore,Xu Fuguan researched in detail on the concept of Lao-tzu,Chuang-tzu,Taoist group and the integration of Confucianism and Taoism to put forward a new idea no one never knew.So,his idea pushed modern research on Taoist culture onto a new stage.
