Abstract
Using oleic acid and methanol as raw materials, methyl oleate was synthesized by the esterification at first, then the trimethylolpropane oleic acid ester was prepared from methyl oleate with trimethylolpropane by transesterification. The optimum reaction conditions were obtained through experiments: reaction temperature was 160℃, mol ratio of methyl oleate to trimethylolpropane was 6.5∶1, the dosage of sodium methoxide was 0.5% (mass fraction), reaction time was 8h, and the yield was 95.5%. Finally, the structure of objective product was identified through IR and 1HNMR.
