Abstract
Twelve compounds were isolated and identified from the roots of Begonia fimbristipulata Hance, including four cucurbitacins: cucurbitacins B(Ⅰ), D(Ⅱ), O(Ⅲ) and Q(Ⅳ); four flavonoids: mixed crystal of epiafzelechin(Ⅴ a) and afzelechin(Ⅴ b), (-)catechin(Ⅵ) and rutin(Ⅶ);four sterols:stigmasterol(Ⅷ), β-sitosterol(Ⅸ), stigmasterol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(Ⅹ) and daucosterol(Ⅺ).
