Abstract

Objective:To develop a HPLC method for determination of ginsenoside Re and ginsenoside Rg1 in tablets for vitality ( Huoliyuan). Methods: The HPLC condition was as follows: a C 18 column, a mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile: 0. 05 moL·L-1 NaH2PO4 ( pH 2. 7 ,20: 80) and detection wavelength at 203 nm. Results: The average recoveries of ginsenoside Re and ginsenoside Rg, were 99. 9% (RSD = 1.7%) and 98. 2% ( RSD = 2. 0% ), respectively. Conclusion: The simple, reliable HPLC method is good at the quality control of Huoliyuan tablets.
