Abstract

Development of corrosion-resistant magnesium alloys was reviewed.Effect of the main alloying elements(Al,Zn,Mn,Ca,Zr,RE) on microstructure and corrosion resistance of magnesium alloys were introduced respectively.Potential development tendencies and research approaches about corrosion-resistant magnesium alloys were proposed.
