Abstract
The method for the determination of As and Hg in metal jewelry was developed by hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry. The sample was digested with HNO3 and HCl(V/V,3∶1) with microwave. The detection limit of the method were 0.079μg/L for As,0.037μg/L for Hg,and relative standard deviation of As and Hg were 1.89% and 4.82%,respectively.The recovery of As and Hg were 99.6% and 96.0%,respectively.The method is simple and fast, and suitable for daily inspection of metal jewelry.
