Abstract

Bothriochloa ischaemum seeds were treated with different concentrations on NaCl and Na2SO4 solution(0,12.5,25,50,75,100,150,200 and 300 mmol/L) to determine germination percentage, germination potential, germination index, germination vigor index,salt-tolerance index and general relative salt-injury rate in order to provide information on seed germination. The results showed that lower salt concentrations(12.5 mmol/L or 25 mmol/L) promoted the germination and higher salt concentrations(25 mmol/L) significantly restrained the germination.By Na2SO4 stress, the germination of seed was significantly affected by salt stress along with the salt concentration increasing.
