An Analysis of Carotid Artery Color Doppler Ultrasound Examination for 70 Cases with Cerebral Infarction

Objective To observe the patients with cerebral infarction carotid plaques arteriosclerosis and nature and discuss the relationship between the carotid atherosclerosis and cerebral infarction.Methods All 70 cases cerebral infarction patients hospitalized for carotid artery color doppler ultrasound examination as study group and same period 60 cases as control group.Results There were statistical differences between the study group and control group in incidence of plaques of patients with cerebral infarction and the degree of carotid atherosclerosis.Conclusion Cerebral infarction and carotid artery atherosclerosis had close relationship between them.Carotid artery atherosclerosis can be diagnosed in early period by high resolution color uhrasonography,which is important to prevent the occurrence of cerebral infarction.
