Abstract
In order to optimize the ultrasonic extracting technology of the total flavonoids from water hyacinth leaves and determine the antioxidant activity of total flavonoids, the single factor experiments and orthogonal experiment were conducted and the reducing power and free radical scavenging activity were detected. The results showed that the best extracting condition was as follows: ultrasonic power 320 W,treatment time 30 min, alcohol concentration 70%,ratio of material to solvent 1∶45 and extraction 3 times.Under this condition, the extraction rate of total flavonoids was 5.71%.And the extracts showed obvious antioxidant activities.
