Soft tissue profile cephalometric analysis in children with normal occlusion in Shandong province

Abstract
Objective: To establish the standard values of soft tissues for children with normal occlusion in Shandong Province,and to analyze the characteristics of their profile.Methods: Lateral cephalograph were taken in 156 children of Han nationality with normal occlusion in Shandong province,then cephalometric analysis and statistics were made.The results between male and female,between mixed dentition and permanent dentition were compared by t-test.Results: The norms with derivation for all measurements of cephalometric analysis on soft tissue profile were established.Conclusion: There are some characteristics for the soft tissue profile for children with normal occlusion in Shandong province.
