Abstract

Learned from the complete collapse of the prior Sui Dynasty,both the emperor and his liegemen implemented the strategy of ruling the country though educating the people with Confucian theory and setting up the Confucianism as their directive ideology at the same time.Based on the practical needs of reality and the profound understanding of Confucianism,Emperor Tangxuanzong named Li Shimin made a point of promoting the spread of Confucianism.As a result,Confucianism met its prosperity it never had in the history of China.
