Several Remarks on the Theory of Social-culture History

During the last decade or more,studies on the social-culture history are rising in the Chinese historical studies.Viewing from the knowledge tradition and the research methods,these studies critically inherit the studies of the traditional economic-social history,which were represented by the Marxist School and the Annales School.These studies open up some new fields and bring some new viewing angles and methods for the Chinese historical studies.They will help to reflect the critical issues in Chinese history,society and culture.
