Abstract
The microalgae, Nannochloropsis oculata was cultured in tanks fertilized with 1, 2, 3 times of f/2 formulated nutrient respectively. Main components of f/2 formulated nutrient are NaNO 3 74.8mg, NaH 2PO 4 4.4mg, FeC 6H 5O 7·5H 2O 3.9mg. The results indicated: when fertilized with 2 times of f/2 formulated nutrient, N. oculata grow fastest. During the culture period, the concentrations of NH + 4-N, NO - 3-N, total nitrogen and PO 3- 4-P decreased. But the concentration of NO - 2-N decreased first and then increased. Under the high nutrient concentration, producing the unit biomass of N.oculata needs more nitrogen.
