Research on Regional Environmental Quality Comprehensive Assessment System based on the Environmental Quality Monitoring

The environmental quality is relevant directly to the life and health of human being. How to evaluate synthetically a regional environmental quality has important practical and theoretical significance. This paper elaborated the comprehensive assessment system of environmental quality based on the environmental quality monitoring. The evaluated indexes were selected which could reflect the characteristics of the regional environmental quality according to the selection principle of the environmental quality evaluation index and the weights of the indexes were determined by the method of consulting the experts.The comprehensive indexes of regional environmental quality of six areas of Sichuan Province were calculated by this assessment system. The results showed that the system which provided a research method for scientific evaluation and assessment of regional environmental quality was simple,convenient,applicable and easy to operate.
