The clinical application of color Duplex sonography in the diagnosis of subclavian artery steal syndrome

Abstract

Objective:To discuss the clinical apllication value of color Duplex sonography in the diagnosis of subclavian artery steal syndrome.Methods:67 cases of subclavian artery steal syndrome were analysed retrospectively and compared with results of CTA, MRA and DSA. Results:The sensitivity and accuracy of color Duplex sonography in diagnosis of subclavian artery steal syndrome are 100% and 94% separately. Conclusion:The color Duplex sonography can be used as the first choice examination mathod in the diagnosis of subclavian artery steal syndrome.
