Abstract
【Objective】To understand the relationship between HPV and cervical lesions by clinical and pathologic studies. 【Methods】200 cases with cervical lesions were emrolled in the study. Patients with stage 0-ⅡB cervical cancer and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) confirmed by pathological examination were classified into the first group; the second group were patients with normal cervix, cervical polypus and chronic cervicitis. HPV im-munohistochemical test were conducted in these patients. 【Result】 The HPV overall positive rate for two groups were 26%, 13% respectively. The differences of the HPV positive rate were significant (P=0.020). 【Conclusion】 HPV positive rate of patients with cervical cancer or CIN was significantly higher than that of patients with normal cervix, cervical polypus, and chronic cervicitis, which indicated that HPV may be related to cervical cancer or CIN.
