Abstract
Objective To explore the expression of P16,P27and Ki67 in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervix carcinoma and its clinical significance.Method The expression of P16,P27 and Ki67 were assessed by immunohistochemistry(SP) in cervical specimens, including 30 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN),18 cases of cervix carcinoma and 10 cases of normal cervical epithelia. The expression changes of P16,P27 and Ki67 protein in the formation of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervix carcinoma and the relationship between the clinical features and pathological features were analyzed.Result Positive rates of P16 and Ki67 in normal cervical epithelia,CIN and cervix carcinoma were 0(0/12),70%(21/30),100%(18/18)and 30%(4/12),90%(27/30),100%(18/18) respectively;positive rates of both in CIN and cervix carcinoma were notably higher than in the normal cervical epithelia(P0.05).Positive rates of P27 in normal cervical epithelia,CIN and cervix carcinoma were 82.22%(10/12),53.33%(16/30) and 27.78%(5/18) respectively, while its positive rates in CIN and cervix carcinoma were notably lower than in the normal cervical epithelia(P0.05).There was a positive correlation between P16 and Ki67 in CIN and cervix carcinoma(P0.05).There was a negative correlation between P27,P16 and Ki67 in CIN and cervix carcinoma(P0.05).Conclusion Pl6,P27 and Ki67 may involve in the initiation of CIN and cervix carcinoma.P16,P27 and Ki67 could be used as markers for early diagnosis of cervix carcinoma. It can be helpful for increasing the ratio of early diagnosis of cervix carcinoma.
