Abstract
The effect of temperature,pH and moisture on the mycelial growth, and conidial germination of Aloe vera anthracnose fungus (Colletotrichum gloeosporioides Penz.) was primarily studied. For the mycelial growth of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, the range of suitable temperature was 25~35 ℃,the optimum being 30℃,and the range of pH was 2~10,the optimum being 5.For the conidial germination, the range of suitable temperature was 20~30℃,the optimum being 25℃,and the range of pH was 2~7,the optimum being 4~6.When relative humidity reached 100% or in water, the percentage of conidial germination was highest. The lethal temperature for the spores was 50℃ remaining 10 minutes.50% sporgon,80% prochlorax,45% thriam carbendazim,30% copper oxychloride and difenoconazole can be very effective in controlling these disease of mycelial growth and conidospore germination.
