On Zhou Bi and His Poetic Outlook in Santi Tangshi (三体唐诗)

Santi Tangshi(三体唐诗) is an anthology of Tang poems compiled by Zhou Bi in the Southern Song Dynasty.In this anthology and in his own poetry,Zhou Bi probes into the theories of poetic ontology,poetic aesthetics,poetic configuration,poetic style,poetic rhythm as well as poetic manifestations.These poetic outlooks mostly addressed the pernicious and corrupt tendencies that prevailed in the poetry world at that time and they exerted a far-reaching influence on later poetic creations.
