The Significance of YANG Shen's Trend of Poetic Style in Literary Criticism History

Abstract

YANG Shen's love for the poetic style of the Six Dynasties is characterized by his stress on Xuan poems in the poetic history of China, which is of great significance in the poetic criticism of the Ming Dynasty by seeking the origin of modern style poetry and distinguishing ancient style poetry from modern style poetry. However, YANG Shen's poetic concept brings about some disadvantageous poetic styles.
