The Present-day Appreciation of the Beauty on the Ancient Chinese Confucian Culture under the Circumstances of Globalization

This paper has probed the present-day aesthetic meaning of th e ancient Chinese Confucian culture under the circumstances of globalization, hav ing Confucius and Mencius as the objects of study. When Confucius refered to ben evolence, he meant not only the practice of practitioner, but also the inner wor ld of the practitioner. He looked on the promoting of people's ideological leve l as the latent power of bringing about benevolence. In order to improve and pro mote people's morality, Confucius appealed to consciousness and initiative,while the West was with the help of gods and laws. Confucius made the improvement of morality have feasibility. Mencius advocated that we must lay down our lives for a just cause and examine our own words and deeds. The ancient Chinese Confucian culture is of the utmost importance of moral value. Meanwhile, this papar point s out:the nice cultural globalization must be in the state that many kinds of cu ltures show various extraordinary splendors,must not be in the state that only o ne culture be duplicated.
