On the Philosophical Concepts of "A Guide to the Ci Poetry

Abstract
From the aesthetic angle of artistic creation, A Guide to the Ci Poetry brings forth referential yardsticks of value and aesthetic concept for Ci poetry composition and it prescribes four principles for the poets to follow. All these signify the high level in Ci composition and mature style for Ci criticism during the later years of the northern Song Dynasty (1127-1279).
