Abstract

The process for extracting total flavonoids from leaves of Lindera aggregata (Sims) Kosterm. was studied. Through measuring the content of total flavonoids, the main factors affecting the process namely ethanol concentration, extraction temperature, extraction time,solid/liquid ratio and extraction times were optimized by the factor analysis and orthogonal experiment. The results showed that the optimal conditions of the extraction were obtained as follows:1:60 (w/v) of leaves to 60% ethanol solution, temperature at 70℃,extracting for 2 times repeatedly and 1.5 h once. Using this technology, the extraction yield of total flavonoids in Lindera aggregata leaves reached 3.31%.
