Abstract

This paper studies the extraction of lycopene from tomato by supercritical CO_2.The results obtained show that when using the method of common drying with air temperature at 70 ℃, the lycopene in tomato has less losses by dipping in solution of 0.5% Na_2SO_3, and when the dried slices of tomato are crushed into 0.42 mm, the lycopene by extracted has more amount, and when this tomato powder is dipped in ether and ground, the extracting amounts of lycopene has a big increase. Within the range of the experiment, the notable relation of major actors affecting the supercritical carbon dioxide extraction is C(flow) B(temperature)D(time)A(pressure), and the best combination is A_3B_3C_3D_2.
