Discussion on the Patriotic Society at the End of Qing Dynasty

Although the patriotic society in modern China has great influence,academic research still has many deficiencies.Patriotic society was founded in 1902 in Shanghai.To raise funds,Cai Yuanpei and other leaders in Chinese education association run actively for fund,people from other areas also donate money to the society.According to the message of paying attention to the spiritual education and military education,the patriotic society opened a lot of new modern subjects to stimulate students' patriotism and enhance revolutionary team.The students in patriotic society are young,and because of the economic reason,they show dissatisfaction with the leaders in education association and ask for the independence of the society.The relationship between student and teacher deteriorated gradually,eventually leading it to be split.The patriotic society was dismissed in 1903 because of the strike of government of Qing Dynasty.
