Abstract

decamer primers were used for RAPD (Random amplified polymorphic DNA) analyses in grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idells) in this study All primers produced bands ranging from 0 1kb to 3 0kb Total 117 distinct and highly repeated fragments were obtained by using 20 primers Among primers studied, only 6 primers (33 3% of total 20 primers) produced polymorphic bands among different individuals of grass carp The study provided date for analysis of genetic diversity of grass carp by RAPD markers
