Abstract

The urban traffic jam problem has already become one of the greatest problems that the modern society, especially urban society is facing. Rapid enlargement of urbanization in our country has produced a great deal of problems that results from slow development in infrastructure construction and aggravated the traffic jam problem of big city that goes further. Implementing priority to bus in public traffic is one of primary ways to solve the problem of crowded urban traffic. This paper analyses the original formations of the urban traffic jam, mainly in the aspects of bus speed, priority to bus system, bus lane setting and priority to bus signal. Priority to bus is put forward as one view on implementing social system construction.
