Abstract
Applied linguistics is a new and independent discipline.Both micro-applied linguistics and macro-applied linguistics concern issues of the intersection and infiltration of linguistics and other disciplines and of people's cognition of things.Applied linguistics develops with the society and it is dynamic.The dynamic characteristics of applied linguistics are mainly embodied in the development of its theories,interdisciplinary nature,openness of scope,diversity of research methods and flexibility,etc.The study of the dynamic characteristics of applied linguistics is of great significance to the further development of applied linguistics theories.
