Abstract
On the basis of sharp criticism of feudal orthodox education, Tao Xingzhi, the famous modern educationist, founded life education theory, namely “life is education”, “society is school”, and “teaching, studying and doing combine into one” as its key content through a series of educational investigation and practice. It has important guiding significance to study and research Tao Xingzhi’s theory in promoting present educational reform of our country and building socialistic educational system with Chinese characteristics.
