Current Status and Development Trends in the WBP Equipment Manufacturing Industry in China

Domestically manufactured wood-based panel equipment has played an important role in the (wood-based) panel industry in China. This paper first briefly reviewed the progress in the wood-based panel equipment manufacturing industry in China. Then, it analyzed China's current (manufacturing) industry for plywood, particleboard and medium density fiberboard equipment, (respectively,) in comparison with other advanced countries. Finally, taking the SUFOMA Company as an example, whose technology level and products are taking the first place in China, the paper summarized its achievements and concluded by suggesting some ways to make further improvements for the Chinese manufacturers.
