Sustainable Development and Resources Guarantee for the Wood-based Panel Industry in China

The author first reviewed the current situation of forest resources and wood-based panel industry in China, then presented the view on the development trends of China,s wood-based panels industry. From the author,s perspective, due to the superior advantage of forest resources in southern China, the nation,s wood-based panel industry would shift to the southern part of the country, and also would be more centralized. The industry would also gradually transfer from the initial simple board production mode to a more independent self-sufficient mode, integrating forest breeding and board production.
