Abstract
OBJECTIVE To observe and analyze the distribution and drug resistance of pathogens in women with urinary tract infection.METHODS 305 strains isolated and cultivated from the urine samples of female patients with urinary tract infection were selected as research objects. The strain identification and drug sensitive test were employed on them and the species distribution and drug resistance were analyzed.RESULTS In all the 305 isolated and cultivated strains,210 strains were the gram-negative bacilli accounting for 68.85% of all the strains,46 strains were the gram-positive cocci accounting for15.08% of all the strains,49 strains were the fungi accounting for 16.07%of all the strains. The results of the drug sensitivity test showed the resistance of Escherichia coli bacilli to the drugs such as imipenem was low, while that to the drugs such as ampicillin and cefazolin was high. The resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to most drugs was higher. The majority of the gram-negative bacilli were multidrug-resistant.The gram-positive cocci detected were sensitive to the drugs such as vancomycin, teicoplanin, linezolid and the resistance to penicillin, erythromycin G was high. The resistance of Enterococcus faeciumto most drugs was higher;the fungi detected were sensitive to 5-fluorocytosine,amphotericin B.CONCLUSION The pathogens of urinary tract infection are complicated, mainly gram-negative bacilli. The detected bacterial species are highly resistant to the traditional antibiotics and there are multidrug resistance phenomena. In them, the increasing detection rates of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa and fungi and the changes of their resistance to drugs are worthy of attention.
