Abstract
In order to obtain optimum temperature of carbon nanotubes/AZ31 alloy composites in equal channel angular pressing(ECAP) process,at various temperatures carbon nanotubes/AZ31 alloy composites were prepared by means of ECAP and in the die with the intersecting angle Φ= 90°.The results indicate that a great deal of ultra-fine grains appear in carbon nanotubes/AZ31 alloy composites just after one pass of ECAP at different temperatures. At 220℃ the sample surface is smooth,it is conducive to the realization of multi-pass of ECAP.At the same time, grain refinement is obtained better results.
