Abstract
Multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)/AZ31 composite was prepared by adding preform of MWCNTs during melting.The composite was pressed by using equal channel angular pressing(ECAP).The microstructure were observed and analyzed by optical microscope.The effects of ECAP on the microstructure of composite were studied.The results show that ECAP process can significantly refine the grains of the composite;with the increase of ECAP pass numbers,the average size of grain is unceasingly refined and the microstructure is more homogeneous.
