Abstract

Electing 20 indexes in terms of nature, economy and society according to the characteristics of regional land use, this paper establishes the index system of land ecological security evaluation of the City of Harbin and obtains the value of land ecological security in 2007 by means of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and related mathematical models. The results indicate that the situation of land ecological security in Harbin City is at the level of sensitivity, in which ecological system is easy to deteriorate when disturbed, and that land ecological security needs to be further improved. The paper also offers some advice for strengthening construction of regional land ecological security.
