Obseration on the effect of glutathione combined with compound glycyrrhizin in the treatment of alcoholic cirrhosis

Objective To observe the effect of glutathione combined with compound glycyrrhizin in the treatment of alcoholic cirrhosis,and to investigate its mechanism.Methods 70 patients with alcoholic cirrhosis were divided into 35 cases of observation group and 35 cases of control group according to different treatment,the control group were given conventional treatment,the observation group were given glutathione combined with compound glycyrrhizin on the basis of the control group,intravenous compound glycyrrhizin 120 mg /times,qd,reduced glutathione 1.20 g/ times qd,both group had been treated for 14 d,observed the symptoms and signs,and detected liver function and liver fibrosis markers,then evaluated the efficacy.Results(1)The total effective rate of observation group and control group were 94.29% and 80%,(x2=10.012,P 0.01);(2)After treatment,the ALT,AST,gamma-GT,TB,the HA,the PC-Ⅲ,Ⅳ-C of observation group and control group were(34.7±11.5)IU/L vs(195.3±100.6)IU/L,(47.4±19.2)IU/L vs(223.4±125.6) IU/L,(47.6±19.4)IU/ L vs(302.8±157.7)IU/L,(29.5±11.7)μmol/L vs(61.6±33.7)μmol/L,(76.5±33.5)ng/ml vs(167.8±89.4)ng/m L,(104.1±41.5)μg/L vs(157.4±45.7)μg/L,(63.4±18.6)μg/L vs(138.8 ±45.6)μg/L,the observation group was significantly better than the control group,(allP 0.05 or P 0.01).Conclusion Reduced glutathione contained with compound glycyrrhizin has synergistic anti-lipid peroxidation,improve the microcirculation of liver,protect liver cells,and effectively improve liver function,inhibit hepatic fibrosis,is the ideal solution in the treatment of alcoholic cirrhosis.
