Abstract
Objective To study the clinical effect of Metadoxine Capsules combined with reduced glutathione in the treatment of alcoholic liver disease. Methods 92 alcoholic liver disease patients admitted to 302 Hospital of People's Liberation Army from January 2012 to April 2013 were randomly divided into study group and control group, each of46 cases. The control group was given glutathione 0.4 g, 3 times/d; study group was given glutathione 0.4 g, 3 times/d,Metadoxine Capsules 0.5 g, 2 times/d, all treatment for 3 months. Results Compared with control group, the ratio of significant efficiency(71.7%) and the ratio of total efficiency(93.5%) in study group were improved significantly(P 0.05), while the ratio of inefficiency(6.5%) was decreased significantly(P 0.05). Compared with before treatment, the patients in two groups after treatment, the indexes of liver function were reduced significantly(P 0.05). Compared with control group, alanine aminotransferase [(32.17±5.13) U/L], aspartate aminotransferase [(38.21±7.22) U/L], glutamyl aminotransferase [(42.55±7.31) U/L], bilirubin [(21.15±2.13) μmol/L] in study group after treatment were decreased significantly(P 0.01), and liver hardness value(12.1 ±6.2) was also decreased significantly(P 0.05). Compared with before treatment, the indexes of lipids in two groups after treatment were reduced significantly(P 0.05). Compared with control group, total cholesterol [(4.08 ±0.42) mmol/L], serum triglycerides [(1.62 ±0.31) mmol/L], low-density lipoprotein cholesterol [(3.07 ±0.51) mmol/L] in study group after treatment were decreased significantly(P 0.05).Conclusion Metadoxine Capsules combined with reduced glutathione on alcoholic fatty liver can improve the liver function, blood lipid, the effect is better than that of glutathione monotherapy.
